Readers' Choice Awards for Printers
We review a lot of printers at PCMag. In fact, I would wager we test more printers than any other website. However, we generally evaluate devices in the Lab for a few weeks, a month tops, before we send them back to manufacturers. So what happens when you have been using a printer for years? How do printer vendors stack up when it comes to the services they provide for the devices they build? That is what our Readers' Choice survey investigates. Check out this year's winners before you buy your next printer.

Must-Have Windows Phone Apps
The handset market cannot be allowed to descend into a simple battle between iOS and Android. We need third player. Its market share is small, but I have never met a Windows Phone user who didn't love his or her phone. That has to be worth something. If you are one of the Windows Phone Faithful, check out this list of essential apps.

New Version of RHex Is the World's First Parkour Robot
At the moment, humans still command a healthy advantage in Parkour. As Wikipedia defines it, Parkour is "a holistic training discipline using movement that developed out of military obstacle course training. Practitioners aim to move quickly and efficiently past obstacles in their environment, using only their bodies and their surroundings to propel themselves." When you do it right, it looks pretty cool. So cool, in fact, that it has become staple in just about every action movie chase scene. What could be cooler? Robots!

Apple Patent Tips iOS-Controlled Car Settings
Auto makers have been investing in the in-car entertainment and control systems for years, but a new paradigm is emerging. It takes a long time to design and build cars, but it takes just weeks to roll out a new mobile app. There is a case to be made that the ideal command and control system for your car is already in your pocket. Checking out these latest patent filings, it seems like Apple is already laying the ground work.
