View in browser Coco Rocha on Google Glass At PCMag we have a lot of gadget junkies writing for us, but only one is also a supermodel. Coco is PCMag's semi-resident expert on wearable technology and in this piece she gives her take on the Google Glass. In the end, she reaches the same conclusion many of us non-supermodels have reached: this isn't exactly what the future will look like, but we are getting close. Heroes don't run to the Chinese and Russians with a thumb drive full of U.S. state secrets and attempt to trade it for asylum. That said, the leaks themselves have reopened a debate that has been largely inactive in the last few years. Since 9/11, technology has made it easier than ever to conduct massive surveillance programs and the political climate has made the American public completely indifferent to it. Snowden's character aside, it is a debate we need to have. PCMag's Chandra Steele has more.
