Yahoo Offers Sad Bug Bounty: $12.50 in Company Swag
What's in it for the security researchers who do penetration testing? Maybe a $100,000 bug bounty, if the problem was in a Microsoft product. Researchers at High-Tech Bridge, a security services and penetration testing firm, report that Yahoo offers a bug bounty, too. The first reporter of a verifiable security bug gets... $12.50, redeemable only in Yahoo's company store for "corporate t-shirts, cups, pens and other accessories."
